How Much for 2 Tickets to Disney World
There is a lot to think about when planning your Disney World vacation, and one of the first things you need to purchase is park tickets.
Currently, Disney World is requiring that guests purchase both a valid theme park ticket and make a park pass reservation for the park that they plan on visiting before they arrive. So, it's now a two-step process to get into the parks, but just how much cash will you be shelling out for that ticket? Well, let's check it out!
Here's How Much Disney World Tickets Cost Right Now
Disney World Park Ticket
Standard Theme Park Ticket
Currently, Standard Theme Park Ticket pricing for Disney World starts at $109 for those ages 10 and up. Now, keep in mind that this is just where pricing starts and depending on the time of year that you're planning to visit or even what day of the week you're purchasing a ticket for, the cost may be well above $109.
To give you a sense of just how much we're talking, here's the current pricing for one-day park tickets in July 2021.
But, there are still some ways to save on your tickets. Disney has a pricing structure that decreases the cost of your daily ticket based on how many days you plan to visit. For comparison, here's the price of tickets in the same month (July 2021) if you're purchasing tickets for 3-days.
The tickets can be used on non-consecutive days, but there is a time limit to when you can use them (typically an extra 2-4 days if you're purchasing tickets for more than one day). So, you are tied to the dates you choose in some sense.
Park Hopper Ticket
Disney brought back park hopping at the beginning of this year, so now guests can head to a park that they don't have a reservation for after 2PM daily. But, if you'd like to do some park hopping and have the flexibility to visit two or more parks in one day, your tickets will cost a little bit extra. Here's the breakdown of the extra costs:
- $65 per ticket for 1-day tickets
- $75 per ticket for 2 to 3-day tickets
- $85 per ticket for 4 to 10-day tickets
So, that $109 one-day ticket becomes $174, and so on. But, if you're purchasing for more than one day, you'll still be able to score some savings.
Park Hopper Plus Ticket
Another ticket option that Disney brought back this year is the Park Hopper Plus Ticket. This lets you park hop to any Disney World theme park after 2PM and gives you access to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course.
Much like the Park Hopper Ticket option, this one will cost you a bit more too. Here are the extra costs depending on the days you purchase:
- $85 per ticket for 1-day tickets
- $95 per ticket for 2 to 3-day tickets
- $105 per ticket for 4 to 10-day tickets
So, you'll be tacking on some money to be able to park hop, and do some extra activities in Disney World.
Water Park and Sports Option
If you'd rather not park hop, but want to be able to visit Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course during your vacation, you can opt for the Water Park and Sports Option, which gives you access to these activities and one theme park per day.
And, with more access comes more cost — depending on the day that you're purchasing a ticket for and how many days you plan to visit, the Water Park and Sports Option is an extra $25-40 on top of the theme park ticket.
Florida Resident Ticket
Standard Theme Park Ticket
If you're a Florida Resident, your ticket pricing will be a bit different if you're planning to visit Disney World for 3 to 4 days. One-day tickets begin at the same price as the Non-Florida Resident Tickets ($109 per day)…
…but the real savings come when you purchase 3 ($73 per day) or 4 ($62 per day) tickets. Which is a savings of up to 40% on your theme park tickets! Keep in mind that these tickets also can be used on non-consecutive days, though there is a shorter window to use them.
Park Hopper Ticket
If park hopping is in your plans, Florida residents also get some discounts on the tickets. Depending on the number of days, the Park Hopper Ticket costs an extra:
- $33 per ticket for 1-day tickets
- $12-13 per ticket for 3-day tickets
- About $10 per ticket for 4-day tickets
Just remember that park hopping hours begin after 2PM currently, so you'll need to pick one park to make a park pass reservation for where you'll start your day.
Park Hopper Plus Ticket
And, Florida residents wanting to park hop and visit Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course can also upgrade their pass by tacking on an extra:
- $53 per ticket for 1-day tickets
- $19 per ticket for 3-day tickets
- $16 per ticket for 4-day tickets
Water Park and Sports Option
Lastly, the Water Park and Sports Option is also available for Florida residents and will cost an extra:
- $35 per ticket for 1-day tickets
- $12 per ticket for 3-day tickets
- $9 per ticket for 4-day tickets
